A print of Flem Stiltner IV’s left index finger was found on the knife blade that apparently killed his Wayne father. A prosecutor said Friday the 25-year-old man stabbed his father 96 times, killing him early Aug. 9 in his South John Hix Road home before trucking him toward Belleville Lake in Van Buren Township and getting stuck in the mud. Investigators would find the vehicle covered in more of the young man’s fingerprints and a journal entry that etched out a murder plot. They would count the stab and incision wounds that included 26 in the neck, 19 in the back, 12 in the left hand, and 10 in the chest.
