Health officials say more than half of Tuesday's new COVID-19 cases are from Winnipeg.
The province says there are 89 new cases of COVID-19 in Winnipeg. There are currently 600 active cases of COVID-19 in Winnipeg with 17,994 recoveries. They say 675, people, or 3.5 per cent of all 19,269 Winnipeg cases, have died. These deaths include Tuesday's announcement of a man in his 80s  linked to the outbreak at Holy Family Home and a man in his 60s who contracted the B.1.1.7 variant of concern. The man in his 60s is the second variant of concern death in Winnipeg. Winnipeg's five-day test positivity rate is 5.7 per cent.
