HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) — A public defender has been assigned in the murder trial of Alexander McWilliam. The Harrisburg man is charged with murder in the March shooting death of 19-year-old Mishealia Meredith. McWilliam’s trial has been delayed due to his difficulty in finding an attorney. If convicted, McWilliam, 36, could face life in prison. Previous Story
