Pune to Nashik in 105 mins Mumbai Mirror / Updated: Mar 14, 2021, 06:00 IST The much-awaited Pune-Nashik semi-high-speed rail line approved by the state cabinet recently would not only change the traffic pattern between Pune and Nashik, but will also facilitate the creation of Mumbai-Pune-Nashik golden triangle as an emerging economic hub. The project that is estimated to cost Rs 16,039 crore would reduce the travel time between the two cities from the present six hours to less than two hours, boosting passenger and freight movements. This train will start from the proposed Pune railway station and will go to Hadapsar on an elevated deck. From Hadapsar to Nashik, the train will run on the ground and will terminate at the Nashik Road railway station.
