Classes for students of 9 to 12 have already been permitted in the state. Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla has stated that after repeated requests from parents, the state government has decided to allow physical classes for students of clases 5 to 8 from January 7. The schools would be held from 10 am to 3 pm. The order is application to all government, semi government and private schools.
