TRIBUTE has been paid to the standard of entries in a Captain Tom poster competition. Hundreds of pieces of artwork were received as part of the children’s contest, staged to coincide with what would have been the 101st birthday of Keighley-born fundraising hero Captain Sir Tom Moore. Pupils at Oldfield, Lees, Haworth and Keighley St Andrew’s primary schools took part. Many of the posters are now on display in the window of Keighley MP Robbie Moore’s North Street office. “The entries were amazing,” said Mr Moore, who organised the competition. “We have so many talented young artists amongst us.
