A high-speed pursuit which began in Hardin County on Friday afternoon ended with the suspect crashing in Evadale. According to law enforcement, the man was being sought after he threatened to kill any police officer that he came into contact with. On Friday afternoon, Silsbee Police say they spotted the man at about 3:30 in a stolen 2012 Ford Fusion and attempted to stop him, but he refused to pull over. The chase entered Jasper County on Highway 96 and then went southbound on Highway 105 towards Vidor. However, the man turned onto Farm to Market Road 1131 and went northbound back into Jasper County.
