May 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed efforts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, including in the context of the current epidemiological situation in Turkey, the Kremlin press service said. "Russia's willingness to step up practical cooperation on this track was emphasized. In particular, the soonest possible organization of shipments of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine starting this month was addressed. Possible arrangement of its joint production at Turkish facilities was also explored," the press service said.
