Putnam at Level 2, Allen and Auglaize drop to Level 1 LIMA — Roadways in the region are passable, as area counties downgraded their snow emergency levels. Allen and Auglaize counties dropped to Level 1 warnings today, with Auglaize County switching at 11:30 a.m. and Allen County changing at 1 p.m. Putnam County, which went to a Level 3 at midnight, backed it to a Level 2 at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday. Hardin County is still on a Level 2 snow emergency, urging caution on snow-covered roadways with drifting possible. Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey lifted all snow levels as of noon, after dropping to a Level 1 at 10 a.m.
