QC processed 52% transactions online in 2020

Doha: Qatar Chamber General Manager, Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi said yesterday that the chamber processed 52 percent transactions online last year. The chamber processed about 68,369 transactions in 2020, of which 35,274 transactions were processed online.
He also noted that about 35086 certificates of origin, of which 17637 issued online, accounting for 50.3 percent of the total number of certificates of origin.
In 2020, about 52 percent of the Chamber’s transactions were implemented online through the website. The Chamber has achieved significant progress in its electronic services and further developed its technological infrastructure with the aim to streamline services and transactions for its members.
