It is also the first one in the series to offer a processing core with a clock speed of up to 3.2GHz. The Snapdragon 870 SoC includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology to assist mobile gamers. There is also the fifth-generation Qualcomm AI Engine to enable on-device artificial intelligence (AI) experiences. This comes as a follow up to the Snapdragon 865 Plus and is based on the TSMC 7nm process. It features an improved Qualcomm Kyro 585 CPU prime core clock speed of up to 3.2GHz. The chipset supports global 5G sub-6GHz and mmWave and Ultra-intuitive AI. For GPU, the Adreno 650 makes a comeback from the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The latest Snapdragon 870 will power affordable flagship phones from Motorola, iQOO, OnePlus, OPPO and Xiaomi.
