Published February 24, 2021, 7:48 PM The Department of Education (DepEd) maintained that a quality control mechanism is “in place” – covering all the learning materials being produced by the agency. Issuing a statement Wednesday night, Feb. 24, DepEd reiterated that an existing “control mechanism” is already in place to ensure the quality of self-learning modules (SLMs) and other learning materials produced by the department. “Our DepEd Error Watch handles error reports found on SLMs, other printed materials, DepEd TV, DepEd Commons, and DepEd TV YouTube Channel,” DepEd said. “Any report of erroneous material is immediately being investigated and verified if the source came from the Department,” it added.
