The actor held a meeting with members of the RMM where he said he would announce his final decision on whether he will be entering politics or not. He also said the future course of the RMM would be decided at the meeting. In a statement released to the media after the meeting, he said he was not taking the political plunge and that the organisation would operate for welfare initiatives from here on. “I have no intention of getting involved in politics, so the Rajini Makkal Mandram will function as a fan charity forum ,” Rajinikanth said in the statement.
