Ram Mandir inauguration: Dry day declared in these states on Jan 22; check full list here

States including Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand have declared January 22 as a dry day in anticipation of the grand Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. Liquor shops will remain closed on that day in these states. The Excise Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh has directed the closure of all liquor shops in the state. BJP leaders in Jharkhand and Delhi have also demanded a ban on the sale of liquor on January 22. The Delhi government has not yet made a decision regarding this demand.
