Here’s a narrative twist in what usually is a straightforward sport: Tim Martinez had a scholarship to run cross country in college before he ever completed his first varsity race in high school. Rams Timothy Martinez (752), Cebastian Marquez (753) and, coming up the hill, Dawson Gunn (751) finished, respectively, fourth, third and eighth March 13 at the four-team RRHS Cross Country Invite.
