Article content The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 in the past four days, including seven new cases on Monday. According to the April 12 case summary, posted on the RCDHU website late Monday, there 44 active cases in Renfrew County and district with three people hospitalized, including two in the ICU and 41 individuals self-isolating. This is compared to 31 active cases on April 8. The health unit is also reporting 12 additional resolved cases. The number of positive cases that have screened for variants of concern also continue to increase as the health unit is now reporting 57, which is up from 38 on the April 8 case summary. Overall, 442 of the total 490 cases are considered resolved, with four deaths attributed to the virus.
