Article content The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting a death as a result of COVID-19. This is according to the dashboard update on the RCDHU at noon today. RCDHU reporting COVID-related death, eight new positive cases today Back to video The health unit is also reporting eight new positive cases of COVID-19 and three more resolved cases today. As of April 22, there are six people hospitalized, including two people in intensive care, with 26 individuals self-isolating. Two more cases have also screened positive for variants of concern since the April 19 case summary. The 11 cases reported since April 19 are classified as community cases. The location of the cases is as follows: two each in Pembroke, Petawawa and Greater Madawaska, and one each in Whitewater Region, Deep River, Laurentian Hills, Arnprior and the first cases reported in Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards.
