First reported missing on July 10, Tamara Benoit was last seen on May 23 in the Portage la Prairie and Long Plain First Nation area. Finding her body months later, Manitoba First Nation Police Service located her remains on September 3. Two 36-year-old suspects were charged with homicide, and a 15-year-old was arrested but not charged. RCMP Manitoba is sharing that the 15-year-old, now 16, is being charged with Second Degree Murder.
