Article content Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence on 18th Street NW, January 21, 2021, at approximately 12:10 a.m. When officers arrived at the home, they found the door had been kicked in and a male had been assaulted with a conducted energy weapon. Investigations determined a male had entered the home while a male and female were asleep. When the male resident went downstairs to see what was going on and was assaulted with the weapon before the suspect fled. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
