Messenger KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: Kuwait Union of Domestic Labor Offices (KUDLO) Chairman Khaled Al-Dakhnan and members of the union recently met with Ambassador of the Philippines to Kuwait Mohamed Noordin Lomondot and the labor attaché in the office of Al-Dahknan to discuss the latest developments in resuming the recruitment of domestic workers, reports Al-Jarida daily. Ambassador of the Philippines to Kuwait Mohamed Noordin Lomondot Al-Dakhnan told the daily that “the Filipino ambassador and the labor attaché promised to resume the recruitment of new domestic workers as soon as the problems of female workers currently staying at the embassy are solved and the procedures for their departure are completed.” He explained these workers refused to continue with their employers and they want to return to their country, calling on the Ministry of Interior to speed up the procedures for their departure to pave way for the recruitment of new workers before or during Ramadan at the latest.
