As per the national Covid-19 Immunization Programme, 25% of the monthly quota of vaccines of a state will be set aside for its private hospitals for direct purchase. The state has asked that the quota be reduced to 5%. RANCHI: The Jharkhand government urged the Union ministry of health and family welfare to reduce the monthly vaccine quota for private hospitals of the state citing their lack of interest and poor coverage.
