ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - To say it’s been a year of challenges both at home and on the job would be quite an understatement, especially for those frontline healthcare workers. And they warn not to celebrate the end of the pandemic just yet as they are still dealing with it every day.
“Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always wanted to be a nurse and I’ve been a nurse now for over 20 years,” said Paula Brooks, a Registered Nurse working in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
