Prime Minister Narendra Modi  |  Photo Credit: PTI New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in four states and one union territory, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has asked the Central government to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo from Covid-19 vaccine certificates in the poll-bound states and UT. According to the Economic Times, the EC wrote a letter to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) reiterating its guidelines on the model code of conduct while asking for the removal of the Prime Minister's image and name in vaccine certificates issued in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry.
