COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Downtown Development Authority Board will be asked on Wednesday morning to approve a nearly $5,400 quote for maintenance on the fire suppression system at the former Taylor’s Stationers building.
Economic Development Assistant Audrey Tappenden says in her memo to the D.D.A. Board that an inspection of the fire suppression system at 60 West Chicago Street was recently conducted and a report was made available detailing the line safety features that need maintenance and repair.
Tappenden says there is about $9,700 available for the D.D.A. in “Funding for Other Projects” after adjustments for Match on Main funds, COVID-19 related rebates, and the upcoming streetscape planning project.
