Reported Number Of Weekend Arrests Continue To Rise In Santa

The number of reported DUI arrests decreased by four compared to the previous weekend, and the overall number of drug- and alcohol-related arrests remained the same as the prior weekend at 24 arrests.
Some other arrests over this past weekend include one arrest made for an illegal speed contest, one for illegal possession of tear gas, one for breaking the Santa Clarita Municipal code, and one arrest made for the manufacturing and selling of metal knuckles. 
Just over 65% of reported individuals arrested over the weekend gave home addresses outside of the Santa Clarita Valley, an increase of 10 total people compared to the previous weekend.
