Around 6 p.m. police received a 911 call for a man with a gun, Police Chief Denise Lamontagne said in a news release. “Cromwell officers began to clear the hotel and then were joined by multiple agencies who assisted. No armed individuals were located.” News outlets at the scene reported a large police presence, including state police, who did not immediately respond to a message asking about their involvement Saturday.
