Authorities in Harrisburg and nearby Steelton are investigating the illegal dumping of a large quantity of domesticated rats late last week. Volunteers and rescue organizations have been collecting the animals in order to take care of them and try to find homes for them. Police are still investigating where the rats came from and are seeking help from the public to identify those responsible.
