Rest of 2021 Tibbits Summer Theatre moves back to historic Opera House By Jim Measel Jul 5, 2021 | 4:01 PM COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) â It was announced on Monday that the rest of the 2021 Tibbits Summer Theatre season will be held inside the historic Tibbits Opera House. After initially deciding to stay at The Ponds this spring because of continuing COVID-19 restrictions and a spike in cases, last weekâs excessive rain forced a cancellation of the opening night of âThe Fantasticksâ. It was also decided to move the show back to the Tibbits for the rest of its run due to the safety of the company members, audience and equipment.
