The program hopes to be up and running by the end of the year. Captain Sweat told WMAN the equipment should arrived in the next few weeks and will see some of the staff undergo training to operate the drone. The total cost $20,000, which was approved by the Richland County Commissioners from the Capital Improvement Fund.
