RIDLEY TOWNSHIP â Ridley School Board members recently approved an agreement for the school district and the Chester County Health Department to participate in a voluntary employee health COVID-19 surveillance testing program for staff working with k-12 students. âThe tests, which are both rapid, point of care tests, have been provided by the federal government,â Schools Superintendent Lee Ann Wentzel told board members. âThe purpose of the program is to provide quick testing for individuals who become symptomatic while on campus, to include being on the bus, or during school related activities, and achieve viral reduction by conducting surveillance of individuals on a regular, routine basis,â she added.
