April 8, 2021 Road Runner Media Inc., a mobile DOOH media company, has partnered with supply-side platform provider Place Exchange to allow programmatic purchasing of advertising on its connected screens attached to fleets of commercial vehicles, according to a press release. Place Exchange connected with many demand-side platforms such as Adquick, Amobee, Mediamath, Outmoove, Roku, Ubimo and Verizon Media to provide programmatic DOOH advertising. It also enables omnichannel DSP to integrate the buying and measurement of DOOH media with other channels. "In committing Road Runner's national inventory to the Place Exchange programmatic platform, we are providing brands and agencies the opportunity to further maximize media investments, expand the reach of their message and target audiences with ease, flexibility and precision via a new mDOOH channel," Chris Riley, CEO of Road Runner Media, said in the release. "Place Exchange is the leading SSP fully connected to demand-side platforms utilized by DOOH programmatic buyers. We have already seen campaigns come through the Place Exchange platform since the start of the year, and we are confident this partnership will accelerate activations and revenue growth across our emerging network."
