Rob Carlson joins Smart Insurance The Salina Journal Smart Insurance has named Salinan Rob Carlson as their newest insurance producer. Carlson has spent the last eight years working for the Salina Country Club and the last three as their head golf professional. As an insurance producer, Carlson will meet with clients and providing them with all of the insurance plans Smart Insurance has to offer. Carlson is a graduate from Seaman High School in Topeka, Allen County Community College and Kansas Wesleyan University. He graduated Allen with an associate's degree in business in 2011. In 2013, he graduated from KWU with a bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in business. He played golf all through high school and college, qualifying for nationals during both of his years at Allen CC.
