Robert Kunze Memorial Car Show is Today at Bishop Carroll High School A car show to honor the memory of fallen Sedgwick County Robert Kunze will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 15th at Bishop Carroll High School (8101 West Central). The Robert Kunze Memorial Car Show will raise money to restore Kunze’s 1966 Pontiac GTO, a restoration project that Kunze had just begun himself prior to his death in the line of duty in September of 2018. The event coincides with National Fallen Peace Officers Day. Kunze was a 12 year veteran of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and was posthumously awarded a Congressional Badge of Bravery last year.
