Image: Aaron Sousa/Huddle Today Rogers Communications announced Thursday it’s expanding the only 5G network in Atlantic Canada to the Saint John region. In a news release, the telecommunications company says the service is also available in Moncton and Fredericton, adding it now offers access to 5G to more than 700 communities across the country. It expects to reach 1,000 by the end of 2021. “The expansion of the 5th generation wireless network is an exciting opportunity,” said Donna Reardon, Mayor of Saint John, in a release. “Providing a new wireless standard that’s faster, more responsive and has greater capacity enhancing Saint John’s connectivity to the world.”
