According to police the demonstrators the ties of rebar in the street causing damage to Police Vehicles but thursday may be considered mild after vitalistic tempted to set a Police Appeal on wednesday with people trapped inside exits were blocked security cameras disabled and accelerants were used to set and grow fires Authorities Say at least 20 officers were barricaded inside the mayor saying as far as hes concerned this is a typical i believe the city stuff could have died last month i cannot and i will not tolerate that this is not a peaceful protest mayor we are saying he supports the police using tear gas like wednesday on the president s people from the beginning of this fire its the 1st time police have used it since he gets the chance and let the city this is not about a movement its not about black lives its not about. Justice its not about Police Reform its plan. Coordinated attacks on Police Officers so much as it was even saying the demonstrations are hurting the countrys progress i am half black and half white and the sad part is that im even having to say that because i think. Weve gotten so lost in the division of police versus black or black versus right or white versus minority that. But whats interesting is that mayor wheeler is now saying everything that republicans have been saying that this is coordinated this is well funded this is well orchestrated and who is doing it thats the question whos funding it and whos orchestrating it but one more point is that mayor wheeler has encouraged it because when this all started he was out there walking with these marxist agitators that were encouraging this and supporting it and he was saying this is all great lets continue to do this were going to give them space and were going to let them take over the town and now look what the fruits of his his rhetoric is the town is out of control and the police cant pick cant damper it down. Vied protection for the private property in the citizens in those cities and they have failed its been an abject failure in these cities all across the country and to say that the president is being out of control by putting federal troops in to protect federal buildings is is typical politics for nancy pelosi shes just trying to get brownie points and in her political rhetoric. Well i think that i mean politics are playing in here and you know ive seen this commercial republicans say that whats happening is truth of portland you know that democrats america however the reality of it this is trumps americans actually happening underneath President Trump you know i have to wonder right now from a political standpoint this is not trumps problem trump is not a dictator he doesnt get to dictate what happens in states he doesnt get to dictate what happens in these municipalities thats thats their laws there those are the democrat elected mayors the democrat elected governors who are failing their constituents if you dont like what you have going on elections have consequences vote in the next election to put somebody else in their truck cant do anything about if you were to put troops in there i would be coming out against it if you were putting Police Officers on the streets there i would be coming against that thats not the role of the federal government so no trumps not going to get hurt and if you look at all of the polling gallup came out with a poll just this week that show that the majority of africanamericans do not want to defund the police in these cities because they realize that their protect those Police Officers are part providing protection for their businesses and their homes and their families so no i think they everybody understands where the real blame goes and its to these radical marxists that are storming the streets of america. Well youre right ted that has opened a lot of different conversations obvious about define the place but we also talk about taxpayer dollars going back in and rebuilding these communities after youve seen. And this protest we saw in minneapolis what do you think is going to happen when the smoke subdues do you think that the portland governments going to come to the federal government and say hey help us out we need to rebuild and how is the federal government going to respond. Well you looked at the minneapolis mayor saying please stay out of the state we dont want the National Guard coming into the state do not try to help us do not do anything we can handle this and thats what happened in portland thats what happened in seattle do not bring in the National Guard and then what happens there is complete chaos and then in minneapolis they send the federal government a bill for 500000000 dollars after they said dont try to help us they want you and i we dont live in minneapolis we dont live in seattle we dont live in portland because of their failed leadership now they want to go to taxpayers all around the country and say bail us out thankfully President Trump said no were not going to fund any of the concert reconstruction in these cities you guys are the ones that created it you guys are the ones who are going to have to deal with this problem. Well thats the thing to having politicians say one thing but obvious there on election time just magically loopholes are found and more money is thrown at it do you think that the republicans who by the way right now are getting a very Bad Reputation because of their taxing and their spending that is happening just uncontrolled at this stage do you think you know that you know their heart strings ive been tied in at the last minute theyre going to think hey maybe we can pay off portland and get votes back in portland do you think theres going to be that sort of groundswell of support for portland on both sides of the aisle. I dont know what votes the republicans are going to get in portland or seattle or minneapolis the those are pretty solid blue states i dont think the republicans are going to be too worried about that however the republicans are very worried about people being thrown out of their homes because their rent is not being paid because government shut down their businesses i think that is a bigger deal that that republicans and democrats are going to have to deal with going into the election as they dont want their constituents being thrown out on the streets going into election day so i think that is where republicans and democrats are going to come together but i think that the democrats are going to hold the republicans hostage to that issue and on the the these inner city issues that you were just talking about.
