Well 1st of all well let me just say that if you look at the numbers of people who sent a self identify as republicans or registered republicans for the 1st time ever there are more registered independents than registered republicans so that base that high number comes from an ever shrinking pie its a smaller number those people as i said they wanted to turn washington inside out and upside down but i think a lot of them are having some buyers remorse because this isnt what they bargained for theyve seen whats happened when you ignore things like Climate Change when you ignore your the professionals and the scientists with the coronavirus i mean were up to almost 230000 people have died in this country just since the beginning of the year i mean this is this is big stuff and this president has shown a complete lack of ability to lead hows this Lincoln Group you know with him right the republicans for room. Well we are funded by the Lincoln Group republicans and independents from biden but we are separate because all were focusing on is the election of joe biden and what were doing we have a very Diverse Group of people who are part of the leadership of it they are former elected officials governors congresspeople senators or some current local officials still serving cabinet members we have a wide range of respected opinion leaders and what were doing is focusing on those important states like arizona and michigan and using the members that we have from those states to right up beds to go on local radio stations to get out there and to to show people who dont want to vote for donald trump but have never voted for a democrat or afraid of that are afraid of the o. And think thats who biden will listen to and telling them no 1st of all a look at the man that he is look at how he has handled himself throughout this campaign i mean he has refused to be pushed to the left even though that probably would help him with his base he has shown throughout his career that hes willing and able to work across the aisle to get things done hes a decent man who respects the constitution and oh by the way would never be silent when american troops are being harassed and injured by russian troops. I do have some concerns about election day well i do when you see some of the blogs that these far right groups have put up the socalled malicious saying theyre going to be at the polls and theyre going to wear their guns and i guess i cant remember what state it was michigan i guess or wisconsin where they are where the. British ery just overturned a a really. An effort by the government to say you cant wear open he cant do open carry in the polls so theyre allowed to carry their weapons in the polls and you see some of these people saying i dont really think they were the smallest of the groups but domestic terrorism is a very real concern and specially around this election i dont know if if trump doesnt win theyre going to be a problem as well i mean he will be but but they will be because hes hes empowered the hes encouraged them he wants this kind of thing in is going to try to change in some way the thing is going to say on november 4th no this is not once do it again with soup you think something some kind of he will. Well it really depends in my mind on what the what the count is because if he wins at all well hes won and thats that and i dont think biden would put us through unless theres some egregious obvious attempt stealing of votes or interference its been pretty bad thus far by the by the trump people but you know something this proveable are bidens just not that kind of man but if biden wins by a small amount then absolutely trump will do everything he can to claim that it was an illegitimate vote that people ought to get out and demand a new election or a recount if i dont wins by such a margin i really think then youre going to see some of these republicans that have been silent and have been enablers relates if you if trump tries to cause a lot of problems standing up and say no you cant do this this is a big in effect 3 for joe biden its very clear what the American People want and what they dont want. I think so i have only met faith in the American People i mean we are at the most extraordinary experiment that i think humans have ever undertaken in trying to put together a form of government that recognizes and respects all people and i think deep down with her decent group near decent people sure we have our fringes we havent always done things right and weve got those who will object almost anything but i think overall that if this comes to a really. Troubling conclusion after the election or if they try that i think the majority of the American People will stand up for the constitution and the rule of law. As allegations of Voter Suppression fraud as who may be all over the place they really were going to have a hectic hectic over on the 4th i suspect its going to be challenging. You know after the votes it depends theres so many states its interesting the variety there are some very important states that start to count the absentee or the mail in ballots right as they get them other states you have to wait 2 days and so the real issue is going to be that traditionally those who go to the polls themselves tend to be republicans and democrats too who are voting by mail so on election day trump could stand up and claim victory on the 3rd and say the early 3rd and then youll see the blue the blue wave start as they start really counting those absentee ballots in the states that dont start until after the polls close so its going to be i dont know that well know on election day unless some of the major states like wisconsin pennsylvania actually show even at the polls that there been that theres been a decisive vote for biden who has a feeling is about all of us whos the in lifetime republican on the verge of seeing a different kind of person possibly lead to what if imogens. Hope that i do see a different person in the white house. Why see a call well im not sure whos going to win this election this is a really interesting election its been tight all the way through its titan who are according to what i see you know i chair the Republican State Leadership Committee nationally which focuses on state legislative control legislative races the senate governors the light what we see are all the internal polling data of the states and pennsylvania North Carolina the ones about grass states the president of course are valid ground states and we think in this have a more optimism about some of them recently and in florida i think floridas going to go trump i really do but people are saying rove theres a chance biden wins georgia and there is or texas there is but i think both of those states are likely to go to truck but you know you come to North Carolina you come to pennsylvania you come to michigan and wisconsin its not quite so clear those are really the critical states i think an election day we usually bill know the winner by the end of the day do you think there is a chance we will not know the line or play the end the day. If its as tight as that i think its going to be that yes that is a group the chance that because of the ballot the county sits you know my state of florida you count the absentee ballots the supervisors do but they have to be in by you know the end of the day election day they just dump all those out early so youre going to see those results maybe 1st before you see the bat ballots cast our election day but in some states many states now they dont start counting them until after election day and they have a longer period in some of the states that are critical of this so i think we should know i hope we know within a couple of days of this maybe even that day if its really not that close but a close election very pennsylvania North Carolina cetera probably going to be 2 or 3 days at least if trump loses when you agree that what defeated it was the car on the virus.
