In this day and age of gaming nothing should really be shocking anymore when it comes to games missing content since we’ve seen it all. Games are now ditching the original formula in favor of extra dlc, pay to play systems, and in doing so changing the way that we as gamers perceive as a ‘full package game’. Call of Duty, a long standing series that has defined the first person shooter genre, is rumored to be opting out of their 15 year tradition of offering a single player campaign at launch in favor of expanding the already popular multiplayer and zombie experience. This is a rumor from a source “who asked for anonymity” and explains that the closer the team(Treyarch) got to their deadline, the more evident that the campaign would not be ready in time. When asked about the rumors, Activision simply replied “we don’t comment on rumor and speculation”.
