Rumour: Marvel developing X-Men reboot titled The Mutants WandaVision in the role of ‘Pietro Maximoff’ – previously portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the MCU’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, but played by Peters in the Fox X-Men universe. Coupled with the recent news that Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is coming to the MCU (with his R-rating to boot!), this appeared to indicate that Marvel was looking to bridge the two cinematic universes via some multiverse shenanigans. Cue wild speculation about Michael Fassbender Magneto appearances and more, until the reveal this Friday that Peters wasn’t in fact the Quicksilver of the Fox Marvel universe, but rather Westview resident Ralph Bohner.
