He will serve four concurrent probation terms. Written By: Leah Ward | × Vasquez WORTHINGTON — Several years of probation and hundreds of dollars in fines were ordered Thursday for a Rushmore man convicted on a number of criminal cases. Alejandro "Alex" Vasquez, 24, was arrested last July when it was reported that Vasquez had assaulted another person with a tire iron at Worthington's Freedom Veterans Memorial Park. He was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in that case, and later pleaded guilty to the offense. Vasquez was charged in December with third-degree rioting in an assault that took place at the Ground Round in September. He pleaded guilty to that gross misdemeanor charge.
