S. Korea reports record daily COVID-19 tally at 1,615

South Korea has seen another record daily COVID-19 tally on Wednesday, coming in at over 16-hundred for the first time.
To curb the rapid spread of the virus, the government has raised social distancing measures outside the capital area to level two, except for a few regions.
For more, we have our Kim Dami on the line.
Dami, tell us more.
That is yet another record daily tally.
With this trend, local health authorities are concerned that cases could reach 2,3-hundred a day by mid-August.
In fact, health experts say the figure may exceed that.
And with cluster infections popping up across the country, the government will enforce level two distancing measures outside the metropolitan area except for Sejong city, Jeollanam-do Province, Jeollabuk-do Province and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
