Applications opened for a permanent Student Association executive vice president Wednesday to fill a vacancy that resulted from former President Howard Brookins’ resignation. After Brookins resigned Sunday, then-SA Executive Vice President Brandon Hill was sworn in as SA president, and then-SA Sen. Thomas Falcigno, CPS-G and chairperson pro tempore of the SA Senate, became acting EVP until Hill appoints a permanent replacement, who must be confirmed by the senate. The new EVP will serve the remainder of the term, which carries through the end of the academic year.
