SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man is heading to prison for repeatedly shooting a stranger during a botched daytime robbery that occurred nearly two years ago.
Saginaw County Circuit Judge Manvel Trice III on Tuesday, May 11, sentenced 33-year-old Brandon S. Breckenridge to five to 15 years and a flat two years in prison.
Breckenridge is to serve the two terms consecutively to each other.
Trice gave Breckenridge credit for 649 days already served in jail, though those days are only applied to the two-year prison term. The judge also ordered Breckenridge to pay $258 in court costs and fines.
