(KOLD News 13) - Attention, Sahuarita residents. The Walmart Supercenter located on 18680 S. Nogales Hwy is temporarily closing today at 2 p.m. and will not reopen until Monday, April 5. Walmart corporate staff say this temporary closure will allow third-party cleaning crews to thoroughly sanitize and cleanse the building, and allow associates to restock shelves and prepare the store for when it reopens Monday. Below is the statement issued by Walmart. “Everything we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and customers, and in consideration of guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts. When the store reopens Monday, we will continue conducting associate health screens and temperature checks, and all associates will be provided with facemasks and gloves.
