The 36-year-old questioned the selection of many players including Pakistan’s limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan. “From one-and-half he [Shadab] can’t bowl, his focus is on batting only and yet the board has picked him,” he said on his official YouTube channel. Regarding selection of massive squads, Butt said that the pandemic has made things easier for selectors. “Covid-19 has made selection process very easy for selectors; they can keep 30 players in the squad now,” the former captain laughed.
