It's been nearly six months since Roi Biton last saw his certified emotional support dog, Golani. Despite having little to no leads, he's not giving up hope.
Biton, a 39-year-old Israeli military veteran, recently increased his reward to get his beloved Bull Terrier back from $10,000 to $20,000. Biton told MySA.com he raised it because his life has been a mess since November 18, 2020, the day he let Golani play on a vacant commercial property he was looking to buy near Jones Maltsberger and U.S. Highway 281. Golani chased after a critter and disappeared minutes later.
"My life is a nightmare," Biton says. "I can't sleep. I can't function. I do get leads, but they usually lead me to another dog that isn't Golani."
