Despite the public health order prohibiting indoor gatherings with other households, a San Jose church is continuing with plans for an indoor Christmas Eve service, according to NBC.
Calvary Chapel San Jose has already racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines for holding indoor services, including gatherings without masks or social distancing. While indoor gatherings have been prohibited since Dec. 4, outdoor religious services for up to 100 people are allowed according to the Santa Clara County health order.
