Customers in the Stoughton and Midale areas have a power restoration time of midnight tonight. There are currently about 321 outages resulting in 37,000 customers without power (which is down from 80,000 previously reported). Several communities will remain without power overnight tonight, as conditions have remained unsafe to conduct repairs. “We thank our customers for their ongoing understanding and patience during this extreme weather event,” SaskPower said in a news release. The outage centre has fielded over 63,000 calls between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday. Crews are currently patrolling lines all over the province to determine where the issues are, and which ones can be repaired immediately.
