Governor Delta Pineda has signed an MOA with San Miguel Corporation, the DPWH, DENR, and other entities for the implementation of the Adopt a River Program. The program aims to encourage agencies, private sectors, communities, and organizations to take responsibility for the preservation of bodies of water. The project includes the desilting of the downstream section of Pampanga River and is set to start in 2024.
