Shortly after the Ketchikan School Board convened for its regular meeting on Wednesday evening, board members voted to reschedule the meeting to Thursday because of problems streaming the meeting audio. The board conducted a roll call and read one of its two public recognitions scheduled for the meeting before realizing that the public livestream of the meeting was not conveying audio of the discussions, Acting Superintendent Katie Parrott confirmed to the Daily News on Wednesday evening. Board Clerk Kerry Watson tried restarting her computer to resolve the issue at about 6:09 p.m., but to no avail. The board entered âseveral recessesâ to try to solve the problems but ultimately could not, Watson told the Daily News on Wednesday night.
