Funds have also been earmarked for a new scoreboard to replace the one located at the end of the field closest to the high school.
“I’ve been looking at designs,” Schenectady athletic director Steve Boynton said. “It will look good when it is all done.”
Turf was first installed on Larry Mulvaney Field prior to the 2009-10 school year when Shenendehowa and Stillwater also made alterations to their facilities.
“The field turf has a 10-year life expectancy,” Boynton said. “The new turf we are looking at will stay for 15 to 20 years.”
